Fundamental Duties [Article 51A]
A. To abide by the constitution and respect National Flag & National Anthem.
B. To Cherish & follow the noble ideas of our National struggle for freedom.
C. To Uphold & protect the Sovereignty unity & integrity of India.
D. To defend the country & render National Service when called upon to do so.
E. To promote harmony & spirit of common brotherhood & renounce practice derogatory to the dignity of women.
F. To value & preserve the rich heritage of our composite culture.
G. To protect & Improve Natural environment & have compassion for living creatures.
H. To develop scientific temper, humanism & spirit of inquiry & reform.
I. To safeguard public property & abjure violence.
J. To strive for excellence in all spheres of individual & collective activity.
K. Parents or guardian to provide opportunity for education to child up to 14 years. 86th CAA 2002.
