The special 301 report : US Property Rights Blacklist

India, China, Russia and other countries on its annual black list prepared by the office of the United States Trade Representative (USTR) report on so called "the special 301 report due to the intellectual property laws, such as copyright, patents and trademarks.

• The copyright is limited to artistic work, whereas the patent is all about protecting the inventions.
• A Patent has a validity of 20 years, later it becomes open for all.
• The Copyright has a longer validity, lifetime ownership.

According to the report, Seven countries - Argentina, Chile, China, India, Indonesia, Russia, and Venezuela - are most concerning countries.
